Continuing Education: Non-credit Course Descriptions
Thomas Merton (1915-1968) was a prolific writer, poet, and Christian mystic. His writings have had a strong influence on monastic life, Christian spirituality, ethics of war and peace, and even environmental issues. Join us for this workshop where we will explore Mertonís life and work, along with some of his more controversial ideas that challenged not only his community of Trappist monks but the Christian community as a whole.
